"Users of a Gwynedd swimming pool fear it may be lost permanently after it was closed due to an electrical fault.

The closure at Harlech has been criticised by swimmers, who claim Gwynedd Council has been looking at ways to close the pool to save money.

A council spokesman admitted its financial position was 'precarious' and apologised for having to shut the pool on Wednesday 'until further notice'.

All leisure and sport activities were currently under review, he added."
