There have been fears that Brockwell Lido, which attracts thousands in the sunshine could have remained shut between June and September. Owner Lambeth council has been in negotiations with leisure companny Fusion, which wants to run the 1930's pool for the next 25 years. Fusion was granted planning permission to refurbish the pool before Christmas but until this week, its long-term leased had not been agreed.'
